چکیده
Abstract Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common malignancies worldwide. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are involved in pathological processes, especially development cancers, but roles circRNAs CRC largely unknown. In this study, we investigated role and underlying mechanisms Circ_0030998 cell proliferation angiogenesis. We found that was upregulated tissues cells, its upregulation related to poor prognosis patients. promoted vitro vivo, facilitated angiogenesis HUVECs. Mechanistic studies demonstrated acted as a miR-567 sponge relieve inhibitory effect on VEGFA. Rescue assays validated functioned relying Our findings clarified Circ_0030998/miR-567/VEGFA regulation axis indicated could be potential therapeutic target for CRC.

miR-506 inhibits cell proliferation and invasion by targeting TET family in colorectal cancer
Objective(s): Ten-eleven translocation (TET) family members have been shown to be involved in the development of many tumors. However, the biological role of the TET family and its mechanism of action in colorectal carcinogenesis and progression remain poorly understood. Materials and Methods:We measured the expression levels of TET family members in colorectal cancer (CRC) specimens, in the c...
متن کاملmiR-203 suppresses tumor growth and angiogenesis by targeting VEGFA in cervical cancer.
BACKGROUND/AIMS MicroRNA (miRNA) plays important roles in the development of different cancers. In this study, we investigated the roles and mechanisms of miR-203 in human cervical cancer. METHODS miR-203 expression was detected in cervical cancer tumors and cell lines by qRT-PCR. The methylation status in the promoter region of miR-203 was examined by methylation-specific PCR. The functional...
متن کاملTwist promotes angiogenesis in pancreatic cancer by targeting miR-497/VEGFA axis
Angiogenesis is a critical step in the growth and dissemination of malignant diseases, including pancreatic cancer. Twist has been shown to stimulate angiogenesis in the tumor site. However, whether Twist contributes to angiogenesis in pancreatic cancer remains unknown. In this paper, we found that the expression of Twist was significantly increased in human pancreatic cancer cell lines and pan...
متن کاملBEX2 promotes tumor proliferation in colorectal cancer
BEX2 has been suggested to promote the tumor growth in breast cancer and glioblastoma, while inhibit the proliferation of glioma cells. Thus, the role of BEX2 in tumor was still in debate. Additionally, the biological functions of BEX2 in colorectal cancer (CRC) have not yet been clarified. Here, we reported that BEX2 was overexpressed in advanced CRC from both the GSE14333 database and fresh C...
متن کاملThe novel long intergenic noncoding RNA UCC promotes colorectal cancer progression by sponging miR-143
The human genome contains thousands of long intergenic noncoding RNAs (lincRNAs). However, the functional roles of these transcripts and the mechanisms responsible for their deregulation in colorectal cancer (CRC) remain elusive. A novel lincRNA termed upregulated in CRC (UCC) was found to be highly expressed in human CRC tissues and cell lines. UCC levels correlated with lymph node metastasis,...
